Virgin Ident

Here's the final ident. The music was done by Rickwaldo, a good friend of mine. Though I wasn't able to have all the particles and shiny stuff i wanted, I am still pretty pleased with the result I got in the Time it took.

Live@5

In all day. Almost entirely a waste of time as i missed out on the one part that wasnt a title strap. After many hours of nothing i went down an started convincing people that animation was better than static image. So a waste of time but here's some stuff i made. The football thing was ready a mere hour an a half from concept which irks me as it meant had i started on it maybe an hour sooner it would look better an wouldve made the final cut.

This was just a little demo i made to show how even the most basic an rudimentary movement can make straps look far more interesting but still not steal focus.

Would have liked to add more to the flas and tinker with the glow sttings but i was going for speed over shinyness.

Been fairly busy these past couple of weeks. Mainly working within after effects for the Virgin ident project we have been set. I also did some work towards the live at 5 project, namely the two planets which I am sure can genericlly appear somewhere, but I'm sure we can find uses for some of the particles.

You will have to excuse the the thin red lines, they are there because I am using a demo effect to help generate the swirly stuff.

This first particle is some very early stuff I tried.

Here is a sort of vizualizer thing, basically it is particles that I have assigned to null objects that are linked up to extracted audio data.

Here is a particle similar to ones used in the Apple i-pod adverts.

And here we have my final shinyness. The text is going to change and I need to work out how to make the particles react in 3d space. This is just a light demo to show what I am after. I still nedd to make a logo and design fanciful text stuff and maybe more shiny stuff. I also nee to get on my musicians and kick them until they make me some sweet music.
